Horses have evolved, so has horse care…..
……the aim at EHEC is to keep the feel of a private livery yard, a friendly place where you can come to enjoy your horse and riding whatever your capabilities.   Once on the yard, you will feel part of the 'team' and will receive as much support and back-up as you require.

Staff are well trained, competent and genuinely care about the horses in their charge.  We provide everything that your horse needs to keep fit and healthy and are happy to discuss individual requirements/needs. We are committed to providing an individual service in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.  We believe that horses benefit greatly from having a daily routine, ours is as follows:

07:00  Feed
08:00 Turnout
14:00 Bring in
15:30 Feed
17:00 Night rugs / hay / skip out
21:30  Yard closes
Evening check

All types and ages of horses and ponies are welcome, from the competition horse to those who prefer a quieter life!  Regular clinics with top international instructors are held for your enjoyment and cater for riders/horses of all levels and are also open to the general public.  Nearby venues running both affiliated and non affiliated competitions include; Patchetts, Towerlands, Norton Heath, Manor Farm, Fenning Farm, Keysoe and Milton Keynes Eventing Centre to name but a few.  Many clients have their own transport so the opportunity to share costs is always a possibility.

All vets, farriers and instructors are welcome at East Herts Equestrian Centre.  Livery clients (full, 7 and 5 day) are not required to be in attendance for routine vet or farrier visits during the working day. We believe that it is important that horses have their time in the field and will bring in and turn out accordingly for vet / farrier visits.

"The staff are friendly and efficient and will always help and advise you.  I no longer worry when away from my horse, because I know she will always be well cared for if I cannot get up that day, or at any time I am away.  The welfare of the horse is their main concern."
Janine Adnet

"Since being at EHEC the change in my horse is dramatic.  She now looks amazing (better than she ever did in Spain) and is 100% easier to handle and ride and that is all down to the help and advice that I have received from them. I cannot thank them enough."
Kate Bull

"Under the staff's watchful eye I have flourished with my new horse, Poppy, we’ve even been on holiday to Norfolk and galloped for the first time!"
